MORINAGA NUTRITIONAL FOODS, MANUFACTURER OF MORI-NU SILKEN TOFU, SPONSORS "ALIVE & WELL WITH MICHELLE HARRIS," THE NATION'S LEADING HEALTHY
LIFESTYLE TELEVISION SERIES.
Los Angeles, CA (June 28th 2006) - We are pleased to announce Mori-Nu Silken Tofu as a new sponsor for the Alive & Well television series. Alive & Well has been the leading healthy lifestyle television series in the nation for over five years. The popular TV series covers all aspects of healthy living and healthy foods and recipes, making it a great venue for Morinaga Nutritional Foods. Mori-Nu's television commercial, created by the producers of Alive & Well, is airing during Alive & Well twice daily in over 200 markets nationwide on the AmericanLife TV Network.
Mori-Nu's first campaign with Alive & Well is focused on the Mori-Nu family of products, including their shelf-stable aseptically packed soft, firm and extra firm silken tofu products. Other available varieties include reduced fat, organic and the newest addition to the Mori-Nu family, Chinese Spice Seasoned Tofu and Japanese Miso Seasoned Tofu. "The Alive & Well series and Michelle Harris embody the healthy lifestyle that we at Mori-Nu promote -- better living through balance and cooking with wholesome foods. We are proud to be involved with Michelle and this worthy series that is both entertaining and educational," said Susan Bucher, Marketing Director for Morinaga Nutritional Foods.
In keeping with a fun and healthy attitude, Mori-Nu has become the "official tofu" of Alive & Well. A big fan of Mori-Nu products, host Michelle Harris has been using them personally and on the show for years. Harris stated, "Mori-Nu tofu is amazingly versatile to cook with. I use it frequently as an entrée, as an excellent base for soups and desserts or as an accompaniment to salads and other dishes. Our viewers are delighted at how delicious my protein-rich tofu-based recipes are. It's simply one of the best meat and dairy alternatives available for my vegetarian dishes."
Harris further commented that "Mori-Nu exemplifies the type of company we love to work with. They truly have a great product line and we are proud to promote their products to our viewing audience and beyond", said Harris. Mori-Nu Tofu also is featured with a link on the Alive & Well website.

MORI-NU INTRODUCES SEASONED TOFU IN TWO VARIETIES
Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu Now Available in Chinese Spice and
Japanese Miso
Torrance, California (January 9, 2006) - Morinaga Nutritional Foods, Inc., a leader in the soyfoods industry and maker of shelf-stable Mori-Nu Silken Tofu, has introduced new seasoned tofu to take the guesswork out of preparing this low-fat, protein-rich food. Morinaga is introducing Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu in two varieties: Chinese Spice and Japanese Miso.
Morinaga is introducing seasoned tofu in response to the increasing number of people looking for quick, healthy protein options. Many are uncertain how to prepare traditional white tofu, while others are short on time. In addition, like all Mori-Nu Tofu, new Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu has the convenient shelf-stable packaging that makes it possible to store in the cupboard or pantry for last-minute meals.
Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu is not made by the same method as other flavored tofu products, which are just covered in sauces or marinades. Instead, the flavorful ingredients are blended throughout the entire block of tofu, providing authentic seasonings in every bite. It can be eaten directly from the package, or heated by sauteing, baking, or grilling. "Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu answers the age-old question of what to do with tofu," said Susan Bucher, Sales and Marketing Director at Morinaga Nutritional Foods. "It can be eaten alone right from the package, served cold on salads, sauteed or grilled for quick, meat-free entrees."
Each serving of Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu not only satisfies the needs of the recipe- or time-challenged, but also helps build healthier diets. A three-ounce serving provides at least 6.25 grams of heart healthy* soy protein. It is also low-fat and contains no cholesterol, no saturated fat, no trans fat, and no MSG. Both varieties are made with organic soybeans.
*According to the Food and Drug Administration, 25 grams of soy protein a day, when consumed as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. One serving of Mori-Nu Chinese Spice Seasoned Tofu contains 6.25 grams of soy protein; one serving of Mori-Nu Japanese Miso Seasoned Tofu contains seven grams of soy protein.
Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu in 12.0 ounce (340g) shelf-stable packaging is available at fine health food stores and select supermarkets. The suggested retail price is $1.89.
The complete line of Mori-Nu Tofu is made only with non genetically modified (non-GMO) soybeans. The eight varieties include Chinese Spice; Japanese Miso; Enriched; original Soft, Firm, Extra Firm; Lite Firm and Lite Extra Firm; Organic Firm.
Morinaga Nutritional Foods, Inc. is a leader in the soyfoods industry and maker of Mori-Nu Silken Tofu in the convenient, shelf-stable package. All Mori-Nu brand products are Kosher certified and preservative-free. The product line is increasingly popular with the growing segment of consumers searching for nutritious dairy and meat alternatives. The company also makes Mori-Nu Mates Pudding and Pie Mix in Chocolate, Lemon Creme, and Vanilla flavors, which are designed to be blended with Mori-Nu Silken Tofu for tasty low-fat, non-dairy, and cholesterol-free desserts.

MORI-NU TOFU ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF MORI-NU 20TH ANNIVERSARY "THE HEALTHY DRIVE" SWEEPSTAKES
Los Angeles, California (January 30, 2006) -- Morinaga Nutritional Foods, Inc., an innovator in the soyfoods industry and maker of shelf-stable Mori-Nu Silken Tofu, has announced the winners of their Mori-Nu "The Healthy Drive" Sweepstakes in 2005, which featured two (2) Grand Prizes of the Toyota Prius Hybrid to celebrate the company's 20th Anniversary in the United States.
"I just couldn't believe it!" exclaimed Lisa A. of Spartanburg, South Carolina, the winner of a brand new Toyota Prius. "The timing was great, and such a relief during a very stressful time," she continued. "Give the recent gas prices, the high mileage [EPA 55 mpg] is a great feature." In addition, the day after Lisa received the news, a very close family member was scheduled for open heart surgery and winning the sweepstakes "just felt like a good omen."
The timing also was perfect for Kim McConahay and her family of Laramie, Wyoming, the winners of a Hawaiian vacation from Mori-Nu. "I just kept asking myself, 'Is this for real?'" Kim explained, "With my son's graduation in May, and his moving on after that, it gives us one last opportunity for a family vacation."
"'The Health Drive" sweepstakes not only reached those who already enjoy Mori-Nu products, but also a whole new audience," said Susan Bucher, Morinaga's director of sales and marketing. "The sweepstakes was designed to celebrate our 20th year in America by encouraging healthier living. We feel we achieved our goals, while brightening the lives of several lucky winners and their families."
William "Dan" Bell, also the winner of a Hawaiian vacation, first tried Mori-Nu Tofu while visiting his daughter last summer in Austin, Texas. "She whipped the tofu into her marinara sauce and it gave it such an amazingly creamy texture. It was such an interesting and delicious use that when I got back to North Carolina, I bought Mori-Nu myself. Now I use it in just about any stir-fry I make. I'll toss it in with some vegetables, sesame oil, and sesame seeds."
Like the winners, many health-conscious Americans have embraced Mori-Nu Silken Tofu as a delicious dairy and meat alternative. All nine varieties of the tofu -- including the newest, Mori-Nu Seasoned Tofu in Chinese Spice and Japanese Miso - are an excellent source of low-fat, cholesterol free vegetable protein.
