Microflora & Effects

Intestinal microbes are classified into three groups: Beneficial (Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus), Harmful and occasionally harmful (Clostridium, Staphylococcus, etc.), and Neutral (Bacteroides, Eubacterium, etc.). When Harmful microbes are dominant in the intestine, toxic metabolites accumulate and are absorbed into the system leading to possible disorders. For this reason, it may be helpful to increase Beneficial microbes and discourage Harmful microbes in order to maintain intestinal health.
